703 Million people in the world do not have access to clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. Most live in isolated rural areas and spend hours daily walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. But access to clean water means education, income, & health - especially for women & kids. CLEAN WATER CHANGES EVERYTHING.
Our partners & good friends over at charity:water are on the front lines of solving this fundamental problem & we are honored to be able to join our residents, neighbors, and the SEVEN community in serving people with clean water! Starting in April 2024 we began donating $7 dollars a month for EVERY home we collect rent on to provide clean water & a better life to those who need it the most. Just by choosing to live in one of our amazing homes you’re joining the movement to help every person on the planet get access to life’s most basic need. $7 LITERALLY gives TWO people clean water for an entire year.
